How It All Started

I married Mr. Visionary. Who is Mr. Visionary? In the book "Created To Be His Help Meet" Debi Pearl writes that there are three types of men. Mr. Command Man, Mr. Visionary and Mr. Steady. Mr. Visionary is described as a dreamer. He is a man who challenges the status quo and is consumed with a need to communicate with his words, music, writing, voice, art or actions. My husband has a passion for photography and serving in ministry and has a strong conviction about living a life of purpose. Because of this he hasn't lived the typical life of a 26 year old. After college instead of jumping into the rat race he dedicated a year of his life as an intern at a Young Life camp and has continued on that path since then.

Debi Pearl couldn't have said it better. At times it has been hard being married to a Mr. Visionary but at the end of the day I love him with all my heart and I will follow him wherever he may lead. My goal for this blog is to be a place I can record all of the wonderful adventures we will go on.
